  • ANSWERING THE CALL: BROOKLYN JANUARY SHABBAT DINNER

    January, 1/10/25 at 7:30pm
    Brooklyn, 11238

Life often asks us to pause and truly listen—not just to the noise around us, but to the quiet callings of our own hearts. Let’s be honest…. that is easier said than done! In recovery, this listening becomes an art, a practice, and a path to taking action toward who we are meant to be. We think the best way to do that is in community.

Join us for our first Shabbat dinner of the new year—a cozy and soulful evening where we’ll explore the idea of vocation as a calling we hear, rather than a goal we chase. Together, we’ll reflect on the ways we tune in to the deeper truths of our lives and share moments that have shaped our journeys.

  • SEASONS IN TIME: BROOKLYN SHABBAT DINNER

    Friday, 7/26/24 at 7:30pm
    Brooklyn, 11238

This part of the year exists as a liminal space - it’s after the kickoff of summer, bright and cheery, and on the precipice of our transition into fall and High Holiday Season. In particular, Jewish tradition focuses on the concept of ‘time’ and how we make meaning of it - how we use it to grow closer to ourselves, each other, and a higher power.

Join us for a special community-wide Shabbat Dinner as we come together to celebrate and reflect on our journeys in recovery. This evening will be dedicated to understanding the significance of time and how we use it to grow closer to ourselves, each other, and a higher power.

  • TOGETHER IN THE WILDERNESS: BROOKLYN SHABBAT DINNER

    Friday, 6/14/24 at 7:30pm
    Brooklyn, 11238

Sometimes life can feel a bit like wandering in the wilderness (sort of like our ancestors, if you will). In these moments, we like to remember that our tradition gives us a powerful spiritual technology - taking a pause from the chaos of life, and doing so in community.

Join us for a radically welcoming, completely delicious, and soulful Shabbat dinner. We'll share some moments of 'wandering' - times when we've navigated that experience and how we got through. Plus, we'll make sure that we help you meet new friends if you're willing or save a seat if you'd like to bring a plus one.

  • ALIGNMENT: BROOKLYN SHABBAT DINNER

    Friday, 11/22 at 7:00pm
    Brooklyn, 11238

Sometimes in life, we have the opportunity to realign with our core values, much like finding our way back after losing direction. In these moments, our tradition offers a space to reflect, reconnect, and embrace the power of recovery, not alone, but in community.

Join us for a warm, fun, and uplifting Shabbat dinner. We'll share stories of rediscovery—times when we've returned to our values and the steps we took along the way. Whether you're looking to meet new friends or prefer the comfort of a familiar face, we’ll save you a seat.

  • Bringing Our Gifts: A Night of Reflection and Connection March Shabbat Dinner

    March 21st 7-9pm

The month of Adar is about Joy, each of us carries something unique—gifts of wisdom, kindness, resilience, or creativity—that shape the spaces we inhabit. Just as the Israelites each brought their own offerings to help build the Mishkan, we, too, contribute our individual strengths to create something greater than ourselves.

Join us for a warm, soulful Shabbat dinner as we celebrate the gifts we each bring to our communities. Through conversation, reflection, and shared stories, we’ll explore how our unique contributions help build spaces of belonging, healing, and holiness. Whether you come to share or simply to be present, your presence is a gift, and there’s a place for you at our table.ption goes here
